I would recommend all models on MB to do a shoot with him as he would only improve your profile.

Gerrit is a great photographer! You are guarantee'd a good shot or two or three....when you pose for him and you have fun doing it!
I recomend F8 Images to any model building a portfolio, experienced or not.

Gerrit was an absolute dream to work with. He is professional and made my work as a model so so easy. He know's what he wants from the onset which gave the shoot a definite direction from start to finish.
He's one of the most talented photographers that I've had the pleasure of working with.
I wouldn't hesitate to work with Gerrit again in the future and I would definitely recommend him as he brought such life to my portfolio.

I had the honour to shoot with Gerrit when he was up in Johannesburg. He is a dream to work with. I walked in there with my outfits and he knew imidiately what he wanted. He is also great with ideas for poses and although it might feel weird, the results were stunning.
I would definitely recommend him. |

Gerrit is an amazing photographer who is professional, precise and produces the most amazing shots! It was an absolute pleasure being able to do a shoot with him and I look forward to the next one that he has planned!
His wife, Elli did an amazing job of the make up and the specific look we were going for was a baby doll look which she achieved very nicely!
Together they make an awesome team and produce wonders in their little studio. I cant wait to work with Gerrit and Elii again in the very near future! Thanks so much guys! Anyone wanting to have a professional touch added to their portfolio should get Gerrit to photograph them - he produces SUPURB work every single time!! |

Oh what a privilege working with Gerrit.. It was fun!!
Very professional and knows what he wants... He and Elli make a great team!! They made me feel very comfortable from the second I met them. One day when or if I get married, this is what I want...Ummmmm now just to find that photographer to be my husband.. ha ha

A master at work....
Such amazing results. I had easy guidelines to follow and learnt so much as a model in the short time spent at the studio.

| I really enjoyed working with Gerrit so much so that time ran away from us. I am extremely pleased with the photos that came out of this shoot. His wife who did the makeup was very talented and was very helpful throughout the shoot. Gerrit has a very unique way or working and it definatly worked for us. I would work with him in a flash if I had the opportunity. |

I did a shoot with Gerrit for his high fashion series. Was absolutely fabulous! He came all the way out to Simon's Town shoot to shoot and I got AMAZING results!
Will recommend Gerrit to anyone in a heartbeat and can't wait for our next collaboration :D |

I don't even need to write a reference for Gerrit and Elli.
Their work and reputations speak for themselves, and yet i still want to add my 5 cents to the glowing reviews that anyone who has worked with them would understand.
Creative energy, enthusiasm, a clear idea of what he wants and an ability to shoot quickly and capture the moment in a seemingly effortless manner are all traits that Gerrit has.
Ellie is so gifted and creative with make up - and the biggest help on set with our awkward clothes changes and doing all the delicate details.
The pictures speak for themselves. need i say more?

He gave me a lot of advise and i learned a lot throughout the shoot. Elli is amazing with hair and make up, she knows exactly wat will look amazing. | This was an experience of a lifetime – it was GREAT to work with Gerrit. He helped me with a lot of stunning poses and mixed and matched my wardrobe to get something funky and different. I had such a good time and would recommend F8 Images to anybody who wants to get into the game of modelling and make the sparks fly and push your port into a different league.
