1. Favourites: a button to add a member or a picture to your favourites

2. Homepage: Latest Announcement on the homepage (so everyone stops
asking the same Q's when something breaks)

All the other suggestions are excellent.

In recent light of what happened, the below isn't a bad idea. Perhaps a new topic for discussion is should MB condone nudity beyond implied/topless?

"I would like to define a group and share an image between them ONLY...
The image can then not be viewed by the public or by other members." - AJNimages

Can U believe it, we have 32 MUAs on this site.........Its easy to get the impression we have about 1 or so if I look at the front page where the featured are.
I think the featured function SUCKS.
just for info I know one MUA that have asked Blade to not be featured and that seems to be the only thing that works. :)
i can not understand why all the other MUA dont get a fair chance to get up there.

I agree thats why I vote that the "feature" feature be set to randomly select members, that way there will be someone new on there each time you go to the home page and all has a fair chance (can maybe set it to people active in last month)

Cool. Here is mine. I second Archi's request about posting and image, and only allowing some members to see it.
Then, PLEEEEASE sort out the pixelation problem we get when uploading pics where gels were used. Dunno why, but MB messes them up. See my port for samples, and most other people who have crisp lines on a gelled background.

Oh and can we please add to types of work: Implied nude and Topless (Not just nude)

Surely this could be done via e-mail or if the member has his/her own website, one could post there and invite views by selected people.

"1. Being able to see any and all comments made on image I was involved in,... "

Charl this could only work if credits are given — I still see many people never give credit.

Are all great sites as Freebs says but add to this www.photo.net.

Wow this is a spectacular site, joined last night... some great features on here Blade can maybe look at.... the one I like most is that you load images but then must request which ones to show on critique thread and that goes to a special thread where people crit.

Also on Photonet: There is an option to "visit" the comments you have made on other photos so that you can see if they responded on your crit.,.. VERY cool

Right off the bat, I would like to say that Blade and whoever is part of MB need to decide how professional they want to make this site. I think it has a large "serious amateur" following, but to make it profitable, MB would need to cater for the Pro Markets as well...

To that end:

1. Agency Sections
An agency must be able to add model under their name and contact details (for a fee, off course) option to have either agency or model manage the port

2. Casting/events calender

I have about 20 jobs looking for models at any given time, right across the country. If I can post them here and iframe them to my site (or vice versa) that would be great.

This must be form based - all details to be filled in by who-ever creates the ticket. Application response (also form) from model that want to attend

3. Chuck the e-mail limits
better ways to fight spam

4. More search functions
on abilities and what models have experience in, would like to do, etc

5. Basic Portfolio - Required Images
I want images of the model in plain Bikini or Lingerie, full length, front, back and side. Close-up of face with neutral or no make-up. I want to see the model that will show up, not the one that has been worked on for 5 hours by a photoshop guru (not that, that is bad, it also shows what can be done)

6. Complaints
If the model, MUA or Photographer does not stick to the outlines or requirements of the shoot, then I would like to know about it, but it would need to be on a "helloPeter" principle, both sides can respond without mudslinging

I have about 20 other things as well, but I will be happy with these for version 2.0

Shoots, is 10 to 20 min photoshop ok? ;)
Ill tell you that you wont hardly recon most of our models on shots taken after a proper makeup and styling and good lighting.

Proper make-up and lighting, no problem... All I want is to know what the model actually looks like

I love the rating system on photo.net

you give a rating out of 7 for

Originality & Aesthetics

I would like to see ratings for:

(1) Originality,
(2) Pose (for model)
(3) Styling/Setup/Make up (for stylist/model/mua)
(4) Lighting/Exposure, (general Camera and Lights setup)
(5) Composition
(6) Photoshop work

all points out of 7

If you give bad points, you can say why to help the tog/model
