NAMIBIAN PHOTO EXPEDITION

We are doing a photo expedition to Namibia from 15 - 25 September, and TWO spots are still open. Details are as follows:

Cost: R 3 500 inclusive of breakfast (cereals, yoghurt, bacon & eggs, juice/coffee/tea, light snack for lunch (sandwich/hamburger/boerewors roll) and supper (braai/potjie/curry/paella).

Cost includes shared accommodation, model fees, permit fees and 4x4 access to locations when required. It excludes costs incurred to get to Luderitz, overnight accommodation en route, and petrol costs getting to locations when 4x4 vehicles are not required.

Models: we will have TWO models for nude and fashion, and TWO models for fashion only. Photographers will have to trust me on model selection, as we can only confirm models much closer to the time. As I am also shooting, you can rest assured that I will secure the best talent willing to make the trip. Two models will be prepared to shoot nudes when required, while the other two will be focussed on fashion and swimwear.

A deposit of R 1 750 is payable by 10 July to secure your spot. The balance of R 1 750 is payable by 20 July. We have to pay for accommodation in full on 21 July.

Our group will be staying at the Shark Island Rest Camp for the duration of the trip, in a combination of chalets and the Lighthouse on the island. We have booked three chalets which sleep 4 – 6 persons each for the first 3 days, and for the last 2 days we will move one chalet to the Lighthouse, which sleeps 4. All breakfasts and suppers will be at this location, apart from the final night, when we will eat at a restaurant in town for our "wrap" party.

In the event of a photographer wanting to arrange his/her own accommodation, then deduct R 750 from the rate = R 3 000. Each photographer is contributing towards the accommodation costs of the models and make-up artist.

We will attempt to have all models being shot simultaneously at the various locations by interested photographers working in pairs, but with each having his/her own time with the model. Time has been provided for in the schedule for photographers to go and shoot at locations again, or at other locations they've scouted, towards the end of the schedule.
