Derek, that's dangerous ground to tread on there, as a professional any way.

Maybe not, but directly linking to someone else's image and insinuating the quality level without being specific.
Not exactly the best approach either.
Anyhow agree to disagree and all that, had my say, not really an issue overall.

Dont know Derek and sure he has stirred a couple of us up the wrong way, but he just merely created a link to the guys work.

I think if it was to someone else work then it is different but in this case directly to the OP

My rant is over and is not necessarily personally directed at this tog, just in general at all togs out there that lower the industry value.

Let me refer back to Matt Raven's blog about Pricing yourself right for the industry http://mattraven.wordpress.com/2009/06/13/375/

Over and out!

Excuse me for being obtuse, but I didn't see any "insinuating" in Derek's post. He posted a link to the OP's work, so that one wishing to make use of the service offered, could make a more informed decision. That's a bloody public service if anything !
Enough debate is stifled because one shouldn't too harshly, one should be careful not to accuse, one should be sensitive to ... In the end, people get given crappy service, get conned by shysters, get sold stolen equipment, and we ALL moan about how "things have like gotten worse under this guvverment hey?"

Calling a spade a spade is sometimes the shortest way to putting your cards on the table, in a mixed-metaphorical manner.
Derek, your link isn't working?

How does Calvin Klein, Armani, Hugo Boss, Prada, and Gucci (TO NAME BUT A FEW) survive with Mr. Price around??

Point of the matter, if someone doesn't want a specific service, they simply won't "buy" it, regardless of the price-tag. And others, well, they don't care about the price-tag, cause they use to a certain style or quality.

Valid comment. They create an entirely-synthetic "demand" among the brand-conscious "exclusivity" sheep, and price their garments astronomically to artificially entrench this demand amongst rich-folk insecure enough to believe elitism will turn them into valuable human beings.

Wow guys all this animosity, must be something in the water, because all i heard was dissing. To put the record straight and answer all your question and put it in terms we all could be happy about. Yes im a model and also assist with the shoot etc and posted this because this is a great deal and even better opportunity for some of the models out there, starting off or just looking for new shots to update ports and so on, further more not all the beginners out there always have the money to pay for shoots, so this is a way to kinda give back and help in a way, and yeah meet new people make connections and network and have a fun day out.

Now as for the quality of the pics, and what you'll get, not sure what all the bad mouthing is about it, i mean its all about the passion for the art guys, what happened to that. And making reff to pics est is always welcome and we all know no one started out amazing its , about learning, trying, reinventing and always becoming better. None the less perhaps than speak to some of the newer clients that have been shot and ask about the experiences and if they happy with the work and the quality. and go take a look for yourself and be the judge.

This is just a promo value, and seeing all the request etc for shoots and allot of guys not always being able to afford it at the full price or rates togs offer, this was a great idea to benefit all parties involved , Togs, MUA and models alike.

i remember when i started out as a model on this site, i would have loved an opportunity like this. i mean what happen to the fun shoots and trips MB , togs and models did in the day, working together, growing together and helping each other out, some togs like Dino, Bruce k Cantrell can vouch for this and the great shoots we did.

its an art and a passion guys, but yeah no hard feelings , if you want any details or would like to find out more just ask or visit the link posted above.

happy snapping guys.

Erm Mr Price survives cos they are cheap, and in bulk, if you want something unique then u unfortunately have to play for it, special for good quality.
