Ginther - here is my honest opinion: you are an awsoem tog, you have shots in your port that I wish I had taken. You know how to click a shutter. You also have a kak pics in there, but that is okay - genius is attributed to the size of your fuck ups (Nick Cave's Abbattoir Blues, anything by Stephen King in the 90's, Kevin Smith's "Jersey Girl".).
But I do see you are still in search of your "style". This is okay, and this is usually where the most fun happens. The advice I can give you right now is the advice I'm giving myself right now: Simplify. you're trying too hard. I take this lesson from Masterchef (Hi, my name is Gerry and I'm an addict) - simple food made well is better than exotic food done badly. A simple photo well executed is better than a complex approach that did not quite work.
If I look at your port, I see a lot of photos that could have been great "if only". Exotic photos, great ideas, stunning post processing, but they are 90% there, not 100%. But what i do not see are simple photos, simple photos taken REALLY well.
