Hooters Sports Diner will be opening in Umhlanga Durban in November this year and I am currently recruiting Hooters Girls.

The "nearly world famous" Hooters Girls are the cornerstone of the Hooters concept, and as part of their job, make promotional appearances in their respective communities. Hooters hires women who best fit the image of a Hooters Girl to work in this capacity and believe that the Hooters Girl is as socially acceptable as a Dallas Cowboy cheerleader, Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, or a Sharks Girl.
For more info on Hooters and Hooters Girls visit www.hooters.com

The Hooters Girl uniform consists of orange shorts and a white tank top, short-sleeve or long-sleeve T-shirt.

If you think you have what it takes to become a Hooters Girl, email your contact details and two photos (one head shot and a full length photo) to angeline@vanilla-sa.com.

Ah, Hooters.

Will they also serve beer in pitchers, nuclear-fallout-hot chicken wings & vodka-oyster shooters?

If so - I'm moving to Durbs!

I remember they tried one in Cape Town a few years ago. It just wasn't the same and it flopped.

I think its a uniquely American concept which may find difficulty in making the Sou Feffrican culture fall for them.

But damn, the chicken wings and oyster-shooters were awesome.

It has taken approximately 5 years to negotiate the rights to open a Hooters franchises in SA. And we are proud to say that we now have the sole mandate to open 10 Hooters franchises nationally over the next 5 years.

No other company in SA has managed to get this right up until now, and I can confidently say that any SA restaurant that opened before this and named themselves Hooters was not the real deal!!

This is no easy task... As a management team we are all spending 3 months in Atlanta Georgia at the Hooters head quarters undergoing training.

So come see the real Hooters in Umhlanga in November, and I promise you will not be disappointed.
