The assumption that there is only one healthy weight that all women should aim for is plain wrong. Everyone has a different build, height, metabolism, lifestyle, etc. As long as you are eating well and healthy you have nothing to worry about. Secondly, the modelling industry is all about women who stand out of the crowd and draw attention in some way - whether that be facial features, skin, hair, height, build, etc. So obviously it makes no sense to compare models with the average woman! LaurenC December 24, 2010, 8:10 love the portfolio :) but noticed that you're incredibly skinny. 48kg at you're height is very unhealthy. i'm trying to encourage the modelling world to accept women for being women as i worry so much about the eating disorder rates in this industry. and trust me, i speak from experience...it's not a pretty road. sorry if this is a bit personal, huess i just don't want girls to go through what i did.
