About sophie

Welcome!
I have a degree in film and psychology, which i studied at UCT then went on to study at The Make-up Issue in Cape Town.
I also studied fine art at UCT for a year.
I started working as a full time make-up artist in june this year.
I am very passionate about doing make-up as i feel it gives me the opportunity to use my imagination and be creative. I believe make-up is an art form in itself.

I can do basic hair styles as well.

My rates are as follows:
R500 for half day (5 hours)
R1000 for a full day (10 hours)
This includes hair and make up.
Overtime will be charged.

I have worked with photographers Jade Rabie (on more than one occasion) and Derek Antonio Serra.
I worked on a short South African film called "Shark Attack".
I have also done a couple of school fashion shows and theatre productions.
I did a directors showreel for his idea for a starbucks advert
