About Marke Meyer

I am a photographer, artist and sculptor. As a professional photographer I concentrate on model portfolios, art, lifestyle, and product photography. As a photographic artist I concentrate on the female nude with an emphasis on low key Black and White pics aimed at exhibition in Art Galleries throughout RSA.

"Figures fascinate me...especially female figures. The energy present between me and the model becomes the breath of life in my work. I am drawn to the warm-blooded plasticity and texture of flesh (the 'fleshiness of flesh') and the aesthetic of the simplest line that spirals around each figure in a given pose. I am inspired by the infinite possibilities of form achieved through using a variety of figures in a multiplicity of poses. The human body, either in frenetic movement or caught at rest, remains my only playground."

I will consider doing TFCD work, but only in the Art arena (this involves tasteful, Low-Key, semi-anonymous nude work). Dance and gymnastic skills are a big plus if you want to pose for this work...the rest is 'pay as you go' for hot portfolios.

I am the founder member of ColaborArt, an avant-garde exhibition platform for Art-Across-the-Arts in KZN. We have staged 17 successful exhibitions to date. At these exhibitions, I exhibit stop-frame photographic 'movies' amongst other things.
