About Crystal E

My 1st Modeling experience was in the series 'Before Life' by photographic artist Araminta de Clermont. The image, called "Crystal Mannenberg" was one of two in the series bought by Iziko museums. this series, and Araminta's other works, is sold via the Joao Ferreira Gallery in Cape town. Articles on the series also appeared in Marie Claire U.S.A. (April 2010), entitled Shanty Town Princesses, "Liberty Belles" Spectrum, Sunday Times Magazine, U.K, (May 9th 2010), 1Time magazine, and in The Big Issue, #153, Sept/Oct 2009.

A short film Directed by Benitha Vlok, Shanty Town Cinderellas was made based on this series.


I've also done a few shoots with photographer Hannes Erasmus.

My dream is to become an airhostess, and I have studied further to qualify me for this occupation.
