About Renegade Lumen

I'm predominantly interested in the unusual - unusual compositions, exposures and themes. To me, a great image is something that evokes a visceral response whether emotional in nature or just a visual impact.

I'm up for just about anything, but I'm afraid I don't do nude photography. Not that I'm a prude or anything, but I have my reasons. I'm also not big on traditional glamour and beauty photography - I can do it, and very well, but I only do so on request. I have a couple of shots in this genre up, but generally it's not the stuff I want to post or be known for.

Unfortunately I very seldom do TFCD work. On the odd occasion where I do normal TFCD shoots, it us under the condition that I retain the copyright to the images with images provided to the model/MUA under license. If you have a great concept and would like me to be a part of it, I'm negotiable on this point.

I am a strobist... less gear, more thought, better light ;-)

Renegade Lumen 's credits

In the past I have done various types of photography, both professionally and more recently, for recreation. My experience includes event and stage work, night-event and club photography as well as macro, landscape and architectural photography. I have even been involved in and graphic and game design. I have a fair bit of experience in action, sports and wildlife work as well.

PS: Contrary to popular belief, I am male, and, hopefully a rather decent example of the gender at that. For some reason the "gender bug" on the profile page keeps me from changing this.
