About ShazzMol

I am a recent Rhodes graduate, with a bachelor of Social Science (Majoring in Journalism and Media Studies with Radio as my specialisation and Politics and International Relations).
When I’m not plotting ways to take over the media industry I enjoy underwater photography, travelling, exploring exotic places and cultures. I enjoy extreme sports like hand gliding, jet skiing, paragliding, free hand mountain climbing and bungee jumping. I’m a new blogger, and currently exploring how to create podcasts.
In 2008 I was one of the spokes persons for Global Pact, a youth activism training programme. I was also the brand ambassador for Smirnoff Spin. I have also worked as a journalist, for institutions such as Grocott’s Mail, SABC Radio News during Sci Fest Africa and for CUE radio for the National Arts Festival. I also worked at a community radio station, KRCL, in Salt Lake City and I worked as workshop assistant for the Highway Africa conference.
I am layed back looking for a good experience.

While in New York City on holiday, I got invited to a photoshoot by a photographer, Chris Kralik. After seeing his outstanding portfolio (google him) I decided to give it a try.

I just recently did a shoot for a poster for Shools Arts Festival, in Grahamstown. That was fun!

I am keen and ready for more experience...
