About Marnus Meyer

Let's start with the basics. I am 21 years of age. I am doing my third year of photography at the CUT in Bloemfontein ( great institution by the way. I'll recomend it to anyone).

I am crazy about beauty. I love perfection but I am not a perfectionist myself. I believe that every photo needs to be perfect. No questions asked.

I am vain. I am not ashamed to admit it. I believe it is important for a fashion/ beauty photographer to be vain. It really helped me. In the world of fashion it is important, but only in the world of fashion.

I love it when people tell me I take bad photos. I know they are right and they are honest. Those are the people that motivate me. They are my inspiration.

I also know you can't please every single person on the planet. In the end it is about you being pleased with yourself.

I believe that the most important aspect of photography is lighting. Bad lighting can ruin a photograph. But your style shouldn't be clasified by the lighting techniques you use, but by the creativity present in every photo.

I am totaly up for TFCD shoots but only if the model is extremely good looking.
